I would like to share my experience with you of my staying in Kapetanios Odysseia Hotel.
Below you can see at least the most unbelievable things and situations that I faced:
1. Hotel manager shamelessly burst into my room. after one knock, I got up, but before I even had time to get to the door, she had already entered my room. What if I'm naked or sleeping or even in a bathroom? Thus, the hotel manager decided to check if my place was clean. Strange and not ok.
2. Hotel Employees drew on my shirt with a pen! I sent the shirt to be washed, which had no tags on it. No one warned me that they would mark the room to which the item should be returned with a pen right on the shirt! It is impossible to vanish this drawn number on my shirt.
3.I was locked in the gym and then was blamed that employee did not see me. The gym works until 19:00, which is absurd, considering that I worked until 18 and didn’t have time to get to the gym by 19. I didn’t know about the closing time, and nobody told me. I went to the gym and was locked there. And it wasn’t the problem as I said to employee, it is ok and I did not want to claim. However, The next day, the gym employee convinced me that I was not there, since she checked everything. And she was arguing and trying to blame me for this situation. What kind of gaslighting is this?
4. The same employee from the gym examined my face closely and said what face problems I had and that I urgently needed to get rid of acne and blackheads. The same employee from the gym was an employee of the spa. The girl decided to take a very close look at my face and tell me that I have some problems and I need to see her immediately. rude! Even without her, I know about problems with facial skin, but she doesn’t know that perhaps for the last 1.5 years I have been stressed and depressed and overloaded with various tasks, which could also cause a problems on my face. This is not good way to sell your service!
5. In a restaurant, they poured water into a dirty glass with a fly and strong smell of alcohol! No further comments are needed here.

Awful noise from the ventilation in the night, cannot really sleep. And stuff would not do a thing, lied to us that he cannot change rooms because they are fully booked (Booking doesn't think so) and even refused to lend us a socket adapter (EU country, UK plugs, and no adapter 🤌🏻).

Whilst the public areas of the hotel were generally very pleasant, our room on the 5th floor was very tired and in desperate need of refurbishment. The beds were not particularly comfortable. The food was very variable, but most concerning for me was the seeming lack of understanding of allergy requirements. With the exception of one lady at breakfast, staff were not particularly friendly or welcoming. On the plus side, the hotel was only a short walk from the beach and fortunately we were only there for one night.

Location is fantastic, beach on the doorstep, public transport around the corner and lots of shops and restaurants.
We couldn't fault the cleaning and maintenance staff, they really do a top class job.
The thing that was a huge issue for us was the room. . Reception refused to assist us, due to disability/health we had requested and needed a certain room type but we're told that it was only possible if we paid for an upgrade so we had to make the best of it instead.

Ideal for a week’s spring holiday.
It is a well located. NOT a chain, hotel, consequently very personalised service.
Very near the beach and bus stops.
Spacious comfortable well appointed 7th floor room with balcony with a partial view of the sea; better view than I expected.
The breakfast and dinner buffets are well presented and good quality.
Overall a thoroughly good stay with friendly and efficient staff. I hope to return.
